This is a unique opportunity to hear Belleruth Naparstek, world recognized authority on guided imagery and its application in treatment for many issues, including PTSD, depression and anxiety, as well as many others. In recognition of our 20th anniversary of providing services to the northern Virginia area, Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia is proud to be hosting her on October 20, 2016, as she shares her presentation entitled: Emerging from the Heart of Darkness: Guided Imagery for Heartbreak, Trauma and Forgiveness. The event is from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m, and will be held at Lewinsville Presbyterian Church in McLean VA. Mental health professionals, clergy of any faith, and anyone interested in the topic of guided imagery will gain benefit from attending. Part of what will make this unique is the relatively small size (only space for 100 participants), and there will be light refreshments provided afterward to promote a networking time. Those attending will have the opportunity to purchase resources developed and authored by Belleruth. Registration will open 8/8/16. The cost for the event is only $35 for early registrants (through October 6th, 2016) and $45 for those registering later through 10/18/16.
